Forgiveness is a gift from God — the pastor made clear that forgiveness is not merely an emotional decision made in a good mood. It is a divine ability given by the Holy Spirit. Just as God has given believers supernatural gifts, the ability to truly forgive is one of them. We cannot truly forgive in our own strength.
