Sermon — "A Father's Heart" (Pastor Andy Ducasse)
Drawing mainly from Joshua 24:15, Luke 15 (the Prodigal Son), Romans 8:1, and 2 Corinthians 6:18, the pastor covered:
No condemnation — men in Christ are free from guilt and accusation; the enemy has no case against them.
The Prodigal Son — a father's heart never stops waiting, watching, and running toward a returning child, regardless of what that child has done.
Fatherhood is influence, not perfection — a father leads through love, forgiveness, prayer, faithfulness, and example — not by being flawless.
Release guilt — fathers were urged to stop carrying guilt over adult children's choices. You cannot stand as a father before God on behalf of someone who refuses to acknowledge you.
God as Father — the ultimate model; He provides, restores, and calls His children to reign with Him.
